There he marries, Ruth Cohen, a Sabre whose British family members migrated to Palestine looking for a brand new starting. So starts the saga of the Hamilton family—the generations that stick to and the way they pass though the turbulent years in Israel.
From Israel to big apple to France and Iran, Clements expertly weaves a story of the thrill and tragedies of the Hamilton family members and the journalist who, whereas looking a daughter, is helping inform their tale. Clements’ historic fiction takes the reader via real wars and coups whereas rendering plausible and shiny characters. The dramatic climax unearths the Hamilton kinfolk coming complete circle—back to the land within which they all started their history and their destiny.
Clements’ novel deftly accommodates romantic suspense with a riveting storyline that may be a lovely, hard-to-put down blockbuster of a singular.
